2008 finally came to an end... its been a really long year! think i grew a lot in the year... there had been some painful experiences... but also happy ones... think we should learn to treasure the happy moments more ya? just to recap some of the important events of the year...it was a bad start to the year with mum announcing that she wants to lead her own life and left... all of a sudden i had to take up the role of taking care of the house and dad... im still learning how to "jaga" the house.. to make sure that it is well stocked and clean... i think im doing a pretty decent job =)also entered the workforce in early 08... still learning on the job and im very thankful that i had a great mentor and fantastic colleagues! because im employed... i finally had my own car! well... mum paid the down payment for the car lah...went for my first commercial run (shape run)... then my 2nd (AHM).. then my 3rd (nike human race)! baby JX was born! took up guitar lessons... had my heart stolen, broken and returned... found God and new meaning in life...went for my first mission trip in timor leste... forged deeper friendships... thank you ah hu gaoster char EJ dean karen marabelle brendon & rowie... for always listening to my ramblings... whinging and putting up with my tantrums... hehe... love ya all deep deep! hope 2009 will be a better year... less of heart wrenching experiences.. more of happy moments... made a few resolutions/goals... hope i can stick to them!1. spend more time with God2. spend more time with myself3. cook for myself at least once a week4. complete a half-marathon by the end of the year... doesnt seem too hard ya? =)
