Another personality test

This one took me ten minutes, but I thought its quite accurate...

You are a Concerned Creator.

Your imagination, confidence, willingness to explore, and appreciation of beauty make you a CREATOR.

You are independent, and you enjoy your self-sufficiency.

Defying convention, you are very innovative, and you have a vivid imagination.

The look of things is important to you, and you have a keen eye for aesthetic beauty in multiple arenas.

You have a strong interest in what is new and exciting—and that includes forging ahead with new ideas, not simply discovering what is already out there.

Your eagerness to seek new and varied experiences leads you into many different situations.

You're not set on one way of doing things, and you are creative when it comes to finding novel solutions to complex problems.

You trust yourself to be innovative and resourceful.

Your confidence allows you to take your general awareness and channel it into creativity.

You are balanced in your approach to problem-solving, not letting your emotions hold you up.

You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.

You are a fashion maven, up on trends, but distinct in your own style. You don't follow trends, you set them.
If you want to be different:

Appreciate the earthly, practical elements of things—there is beauty in form as well.

While you are good at thinking abstractly, focusing on details a bit more may help you discover things about the world.

how you relate to others
You are Concerned

Your understanding of others' emotions, your sense of right and wrong, and your skeptical nature make you CONCERNED.

Your observations of your environment, in concert with your clearly defined worldview, leads you to be aware of the feelings of others.

Because you can read people well, and because you can understand their feelings, you are often bothered by others' insensitive behavior.

While you appreciate others' emotional nature, you don't think their emotional concerns should take precedence over their obligations to society.

You prefer to be in smaller groups, as big groups can occasionally get out of hand.

Order and structure are somewhat important to you—you believe that people's feelings are better protected when others are respectful and follow certain societal guidelines.

You tend to share your feelings with a few individuals who are close with you, but otherwise you are a somewhat private person.

Let your caring nature allow you to put more trust in people in general—you can have more faith in them without losing your valuable skepticism.

Maybe you can try it yourself

Ultimate Frisbee, Ultimate Fun

I'm so glad I that I joined the gals in the Sydney tournament. Initially I was hesitant and apprenhensive about this trip because I thought I might not fit in. As it turns out, my worries were unduly. The gals were so much fun to be with, and not once did I feel left out of the group.

The trip started with a 16-hour drive from Adelaide to Sydney. We covered a total of 1395km! thats like 25 times the length of Singapore! We sat in the car until our asses ached, seriously, at one point of time my arse was numb... but it was fun, we joked, laughed, snacked non-stop on the way there. And when we finally reached Sydney, we practiced our "teamwork" in getting around the city (Coz the city is sooo complicated compared to Adelaide, and the heavy traffic did not help). We had one gal driving, 2 gals reading the map and another 2 gals trying to keep the rest of the gals calm from the 16-hour drive.. ha.. it was hilarious!

The games itself started on Saturday and ended on Tuesday. Throughout these 4 days, we played a total of 9 games, each lasting for about 1.5 hours. So that's ALOT of exercise. We didnt have many subs, so imagine the amount of running we had to do, my legs were sore everyday after the games.

We didnt win the tournament itself, but we finished a rank higher than our seeding, which is like a major victory for us already. We were seeded 15th, and we came in 14th (did I mention that there were only 16 teams?) hur hur... But it was great fun, I learnt alot from the many games we had to play, and built up my endurance too! I think I'm now well known for my "fast legs" heh heh.. and my greatest achievement for this tournament was *drumroll*........ that I won MVP for one of the games! Eh, for those who dunno, MVP means "most valuable player" and usually at the end of each game, the opposition team will nominate one player as MVP, and usually the MVP will get a little prize from the opposition team. So thats like a mega prize for me. It felt really good, its like knowing that your hard work is being recognised. Anyway, many of the other players also told me that I improved alot during this tourney (short for tournament), so I'm really happy!

The wonderful Furyess gals!

My MVP prize, just a string of lollies, but I'm still gonna treasure it!

The only sad thing about this tourney was probably the fact that we travelled so far to Sydney, but didnt really get a chance to tour the city. We spent most of our time at the fields, and the only time we got to see the city was during the night when everything's more or less closed. The most we saw of Sydney was just Bondi beach... Not to say that its no good, just that spending 5 days at the same place aint gonna make it that interesting! heh...

Bondi Beach...

Team-mate Alisa & I strolling the beach

Now, take a look at our lunch basket

I'm really a bread person, I love eating bread.. but after having 5 days of bread for every single meal, I just dont feel like bread anymore! Urghh...

A more detailed look into our lunch basket...

The gals chilling out in the shade after a game while waiting for lunch

I was trying to take a picture with my team-mate from America, and just before the picture was taken, she just scooped me up! Apparently I'm just soooo small

Us gals just goofing around after the tourney...

It was just sooo much fun! Can't wait for the next tourney to begin!

One week of holidays

Eeeks, time flies when you're having fun... the first week of term break went by so quickly...

Monday was spent running around the field the whole day for CUG (Central Uni Games), but we came in first, out of 3 teams.. haha.. yay... not many unis to compete with. Still I'm glad we won. Next up is SUG in July, gonna be held in Ballart (Victoria), sounds fun!

This week is "Easter week", this is my first time experiencing Easter outside Singapore. I don't remember doing anything special during this time of the year, except just lazing around at home for having this extra holiday. Here, the atmosphere's different. ALL the shops are closed during the Easter weekend, and we had to "stock up" food on Thursday cos the shops are gonna be closed till Monday. And having "Easter eggs" is a bigger thing compared to home. I seriously don't remember eating easter eggs during easter. But here, I was given at least 5 easter eggs! Yum... =P

Anyways, since there was NOWHERE to go on this weekend, Joyce & I decided to go watch some Waterski competition held in Glenelg, just to look at cool people jumping around in skis & enjoy the cool autumn breeze. Some pictures we took while we were there.

Can you spot the flying man?

Look at this person jump... it looks like the person is "cut & pasted" on the background, but NO... He really jumped that high... Btw, they're competiting on who jumps the furthest. The furthest distance I heard was about 55 metres I think..

I couldnt help but marvel at the beautiful sunset...

Us gals... looking cool...

Next up is Sydney ladies nationals! Can't wait to go!

Have a break, have a kit-kat...

It seems like everyone's busy with their work, friends from SGP, friends from here, all rushing assignments & preparing for exams...

As for me, I've been up to the neck with assignments and frisbee for the past 2 weeks. I'm so glad I finished my assignments on time, it may not the of the highest quality, but I'm proud of my time management.

The next 2 weeks is term break, which means another nightmare for me. I've got like tons of homework due after the holidays, on top of that, I've got my frisbee trainings and games. Which means... no time to rest? Anyway, I'm gonna have a good rest from now till the start of next week (which is like 3 days?), recharge myself & get ready for the battle!

Oh, thanks to those who helped me edit my assignments, really grateful that you took time outta your busy schedule to have a look at my work. Thank you again! *MUAKS!*

For all of you out there who are in this mad rush with me, take a break, have a good rest before continuing the battle!

I took this picture yesterday outside my house. It really showed the sunshine after the rain, I wonder where's the end of the rainbow... hmm...

I like this song...
