After Week One
Really... I can only find the energy to eat, do some reading & sleep every night when I get back from work. No MSN, no scrabble, no TV, no everything.
My daily schedule:
6.40am - Wake up
7.30am - Leave house
8.00am - Reach work place
(Stand/walk all morning)
12.30pm - Lunch with EJ
(Stand/walk all afternoon)
6.00pm - Go home
7.oopm - Reach home & dinner
8.30pm - Check email & do "research"
10.30pm - Prepare to sleep
11.00pm - Deep sleep already...
The next 2 weeks are going to be like that too... *sigh*
I always look forward to weekends, now even more so...
Fortunately I had a pretty good weekend. All thanks to Dean & Karen & Gang!
Friday night Dean & I went for pedicure... I'm so amazed at the wonders that the pedicurist did to my little feet. My nail beds doubled in size after she removed the cuticles... So pretty now! And they actually look normal sized now! (Previously I had freakishly tiny nail beds...) whee!!
Us girls and our feet - mine is the only that didn't cover the toes!
Saturday night was dinner with Dean, Karen, Andy & Terence at Harbour City Restaurant. Karen was craving for their chilli crab and since you only get special price if there's 4 or more pax, Dean & I were invited along... *tsk tsk* BUT... the food was pretty alright. So no complains!
Looks yummy??
After dinner... KTV at Kbox. Its way over-priced on weekends, somehow I think we should have gone to Mind Cafe for some board games instead :P
Mr Andy Tan pretending to be gorgeous Mr Andy Lau (cannot lah Andy!!)
Liyan & Karen
Terence & Dean
Liyan, Karen, Andy & Terence (no Dean cos she's the camera woman... Thanks babe!)
I hope the next 2 weeks pass quickly...

Final Placement
Excited. Cos' its the final 3 weeks of student life for me. And having stayed home for 2 weeks made me realize that cooping myself at home (I mean working from home...) isn't healthy. Its better to be out there... working & interacting with people. Staying home & resting is good... once in a while...
I hope my 3 weeks at AH will be smooth sailing, complete it without any hiccups... and then fly back to Adelaide for my graduation! Wheee!!
I've started listing the things that I wanna do when I go back... haha...
Here's to name a few:
1) Catch up with Shan & Zhixian
2) Visit the newly wed couple Lynley & Jarrah
3) Play ultimate frisbee with the FU team... (hopefully the summer league is on!)
4) Visit Hahndorf for German beer!
5) ... I'll list more when I think of them
That's all for now!

Wild Rose?
The Wild Rose
Random Brutal Love Dreamer (RBLD)
Colorful, but unpicked. You are The Wild Rose.
Prone to bouts of cynicism, sarcasm, and thorns, you excite a certain kind of man. Hoping to gather you up, he flirts and winks and asks you out, ultimately professing his love. Then you make him bleed. Why? Because you're the rare, independent, self-sufficient kind of woman who does want love, but not from a weakling.
You don't seem to take yourself too seriously, and that's refreshing. You aren't uptight; you don't over-plan. Romance-wise, sex isn't a top priority--a true relationship would be preferable. For your age, you haven't had a lot of bonafide love experience, though, and this kind of gets to core of the issue. You're very selective.
The problem is them, not you, right? You have lofty standards that few measure up to. You're out there all right, but not to be picked up by just anyone.
Brought to you by OkCupid.
Your exact female opposite:
The Dirty Little Secret
Deliberate Gentle Sex Master

UF videos
Women's game - Mostly "zone" play, slower paced than the men's game, more throws to watch and of cos, more hot legs to see...
Men's game - fast paced, long throws/hucks, aggressive offence and defence & plenty of cute guys.
Enjoy!
Sick
Not the perfect time to be sick (actually... is there any good time to be sick?!?!) because I have a presentation tomorrow. To make things worse, I think quite a few dietitians from everywhere will be attending the presentation. I hope my sexy husky voice will not cause any jealousy amongst them! hurhur... kidding lah...
Seriously, I'm starting my final placement at AH next week and I wanna be ready and energetic for the final 3 weeks of my student life! I should see the doc tmr, get some meds and knock myself out for the next 2 days...
Or so I hope...

Memories
Was trying to dig up some pictures I took while I was at APB, but... can't find any... Found alot of random pictures though! All of them taken when I was... *ahem* younger... I think I really aged a lot... okay.. maybe the word is matured a lot... haha!
And Xiaohui , you're right. I can't find a single picture with Gao, Lam, you & I. How is that remotely possible?!
Anyway some pictures to share...
Pictures are in chronological order...
HCJC 00S66 - who would have thought we're still in contact after so many years?
Mid Autumn Festival at HCJC with ah Dot and Merly.
Merly is now at... I dunno where...
When Kevin & I were still an item...
When I still looked like a hamster...
When Xiaohui & I modeled for some Science Club magazine for NUS...
When Keen celebrated Xiaohui's 21st on a tourbus! The good ol' days were we hung in a group of 10 or more...
When I was hanging out with the NTU peeps at their hall...
Sigh, now its just Dex, Kong & I hanging out...
When I used to play beach volleyball...
When people used to think Kelvin & I look like siblings... because we both have hamster face...
People now model... don't compare la hor!
When I was in final year in NUS & working for APB...
The last picture is for Xiaohui!! I think the only time the 4 of us were in the same picture was when we were in Hong Kong... And only when we took group pictures like in Madam Tussards and at the Peak!
Cheers to 5 years (for Xiaohui, 17 years!) of friendship and counting...
Looking forward to our reunion :)

Genting 2007
Yiling, Kong, Me
Will put pictures up on Facebook, so you can see more over there.
Just a lil' summary of what went up there...
The bus trip up was pretty alright, the seats were spacious (unlike those airplanes one where you feel like your legs are getting squashed... Yes, even though my legs are short, I get that too :P) and new! Except that I was sitting right on top of the engine/gearbox, so whenever the driver dragged the gear I could hear the engine cry... which then wakes me up from my beauty sleep...
We arrived there at like 6am in the morning (?!), we couldn't check in, so perfect excuse for the boys to go to the casino...
So after a short stay at the casino, we checked into our 5* hotel room and napped. Yes, we napped... how to enjoy ourselves when we don't have any energy right??
We camera whores just can't stop taking pictures...
Anywho, after napping for another short while, we headed to the themepark. I think I've reached the age where my heart can't take the excitement. After a roller coaster ride, my legs went wobbly (according to Yiling the roller coaster wasn't thrilling at all!), the boys went on to the ride where u feel the fall of gravity? Can't remember the name, but I chose to sit out. (Yeah, I'm a wuss wat...)
Yiling, Me, Henry, Andy & Kong - after the themepark
I think the highlight of the trip was playing at the arcade. Since we've been deprived of arcade games during our childhood, we decided to spend some money & time there... and blew more than $100RM playing arcade games... hurhur, something that I was never allowed to do when I was young!
We played this basketball game, basically you just keep throwing the ball into the hoop... Yiling turned out to be the best player! And... no prizes for guessing who is the worst... hurhur... I guess basketball isn't my kinda game... I shall stick to my ultimate frisbee... :P
Yiling - super zai basketballer
We also played this shooting game. I got so engrossed in it that I didn't even realise that they were taking pictures behind me! haha...
Kong, Yiling, Me - looking stupid...
Yiling & I disturbing Kong when he's playing the shooting game.. huhhur...
The night was spent playing stupid card games and drinking. I have no idea why the boys brought one bottle of alcohol there. Anyways, they drank till they puked.... Boys....
At least they were not hung-over the next day!
So overall the trip was great! Except now my lungs are full of cigarette smoke... The boys were 3 walking chimneys!
The gals!

iListen
I love the melody (oh so soothing...), the arrangement, especially the guitar accompaniment and of course, the lyrics. Its one of those FEW songs that he actually wrote his own lyrics. Added a personal touch to the song ya?
Lyrics:
For those who can read Chinese, its such a lovely song isn't it?
For those who can't read Chinese, you can listen to me sing it next time!
*And no EJ, it doesnt include you since you don't allow me to sing!! And stop rolling your eyes...*
